I love how absolutely cheesy this video is. At various points the members of Dokken appear throughout the scenery of the movie set to rock. It all culminates at the end where they use the power of metal to defeat Freddie Krueger and wake him from his own nightmare. He is left asking, “who were those guys?” Besides the hokey video, there is one stand out reason to like this song. George Lynch uses his ridiculous dexterity to burn up his skulled axe. Lynch usually does impressive things with a guitar and “Dream Warriors” is no exception.
